Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Structured Progression System
Our structured Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu belt system provides a clear pathway from beginner to advanced practitioner. Each belt represents your growth in technical knowledge, practical application, discipline, and character. Progression is earned through consistent training, skill development, dedication, and demonstration of the core values of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Adult Belt Progression
White Belt → Blue Belt → Purple Belt → Brown Belt → Black Belt
- White Belt – Learn the fundamentals, essential positions, escapes, submissions, and defensive principles.
- Blue Belt – Build a strong technical foundation while developing confidence in live sparring and positional control.
- Purple Belt – Refine techniques, improve strategic thinking, and begin developing your own unique style.
- Brown Belt – Master advanced techniques, transitions, and leadership qualities while preparing for the black belt.
